One of the most important resources in the world is water. We all need it and cannot live without it. It’s involved in countless aspects of our lives. We drink it, use it to power our lives (hydro, power plants, geothermal), as well as find it in manufacturing applications, waste disposal, and waste treatment.
While most water applications are innocuous, many applications can be difficult to seal. Applications involving hot water, boiler feed, condensate, slurries and brine have special considerations. PPC has developed special seal designs for handling all of these applications including seals for hot water up to 280 F without cooling. For high temperature and slurries, we can utilize diamond faces, the choice for low lubrication and abrasives.
